Four acts across two stages
Peel It Back
June 12, 2025 – March 16, 2026
Peel It Back reorganized the arena as a four-act performance moving between an intimate center-floor platform and a layered main-stage cube. The architecture remained stable while songs, touring personnel, and the relationship with Boys Noize changed across Europe and two North American legs.

The Live Profile
Touring lineup
- Continuous live core: Trent Reznor, Robin Finck
- Official member / studio partner: Atticus Ross remained central to Nine Inch Nails as an official member and studio partner rather than a regular onstage performer.
- Europe 2025: Alessandro Cortini, Ilan Rubin
- North America fall 2025: Alessandro Cortini, Josh Freese
- North America winter 2026: Stu Brooks, Josh Freese
- Featured collaborator: Boys Noize / Alex Ridha joined the third act rather than the complete NIN performance.
Stage and lighting
- Act one revealed an intimate electronic and acoustic performance on the center-floor stage after its surrounding curtain dropped.
- Act two moved to a layered main-stage cube using translucent scrims, multi-angle projection, live cameras, and Marcin Pospiech imagery.
- Act three returned to the floor for the Boys Noize collaboration, with fog, floor illumination, added electronics, and tarot-card cues.
- Act four removed the scrims for a direct full-band finish with rear lighting and side-screen live feeds.
Setlist patterns
- Act one reworked quieter electronic material such as Right Where It Belongs, Ruiner, and Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now).
- Act two delivered the first full-band attack through songs including Wish, March of the Pigs, Reptile, Heresy, Copy of A, and Gave Up.
- Act three transformed Vessel, Closer, As Alive as You Need Me to Be, and Came Back Haunted through the Nine Inch Noize collaboration.
- Act four returned to Mr. Self Destruct and later catalog anchors before Head Like a Hole and Hurt.
Support acts and co-bills
- Boys Noize supported every non-festival performance and then joined the third act.
- Festival appearances used reduced production and are treated as exceptions rather than full four-act arena presentations.
