Original Music from the Motion Picture
Mid90s
United States releaseOctober 19, 2018
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross approached Jonah Hill's Mid90s with a small, intimate collection of cues. Warm keyboards, tape-like haze, and simple melodic figures sit beside the film's period songs without imitating them.
The brief score is structured around recollection instead of strict period recreation. Its recurring keyboard figures connect the film's fragmented scenes without competing with the songs, skate footage, or performances.
