Work with Nine Inch Nails
Jeff Ward joined the Nine Inch Nails touring band during the Sin phase and remained the drummer through the 1991 shows. His tenure belongs to the first rapid expansion of the live audience.
Ward’s wider industrial-music work connected NIN to the Chicago and Wax Trax-related network surrounding Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Lard and Pigface. The Downward Spiral liner notes later carried a dedication to him.
