Halo 19
With Teeth
United States release
May 3, 2005
With Teeth is the album that reintroduced Nine Inch Nails after a six-year studio gap. Written from the perspective of Trent Reznor's sobriety, it trades some of The Fragile's sprawl for direct arrangements, prominent rhythm, and tightly focused songs.
Alan Moulder co-produced, Atticus Ross contributed programming, and Dave Grohl's drums add physical weight to several tracks. “The Hand That Feeds,” “Only,” and “Every Day Is Exactly The Same” carried the era into a sustained return to touring.
